416 WEATHERBY MAGNUM

The .416 has quickly become one of the best all-around cartridges for Africa. Developed by Roy’s son, Ed, the .416 is a necked up version of the .378 exceeding the power and energy of the .416 Rigby, the .416 Remington Magnum and the .458 Winchester. The ideal choice for the single gun African safari or Alaska’s big bears.

A typical "heavy" hunting rifle, the 416 Weatherby Magnum generates more recoil than most people can handle without practice. However, in the hands of a skilled hunter the 416 Weatherby will handle any game anywhere without any problem.

recoil...up to 53 percent. That’s nearly 10 percent more effective than our nearest competitor.

                                                               416 Weatherby 400GR Monolithic Solid
The Monolithic is a serious hunting bullet designed for when maximum penetration is required on the toughest and largest game. Made from a single alloy, this bullet sacrifices expansion and has no separate jacket. A-Square has designed these bullets to have a similar profile and weight to their other big game bullets so that you can mix and match them without changing point of impact on the target.
